Frank Rosen* - was born in Amersfoort in 1946. He was educated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. He was a student of Theo Kurpershoek and Ap Sok. Rosen works in several fields of the visual arts, including as a painter, etcher and sculptor.
Before that, he also worked as a set designer at the NOS. He designed, among other things, the decor for the television program Zo Vader Zo Zoon and was involved as art director in the series Sil de Strandjutter. He also illustrated books by Gertie Evenhuis and Beccy de Vries.
His work can be found in the public space of several places in the Netherlands. He also designed the bronze bust of Annie MG Schmidt for the Annie MG Schmidt Prize, which is awarded annually for the best theater song of the past year.
