Guillaume LeRoy * (1938-2008). Born in Blaricum. Dutch graphic artist, textile artist and art teacher. Former teacher of the Kampense art academy. Le Roy went to the Rietveld Academy (Artsnijverheidschool Amsterdam, dept. free graphics) in 1958 and specialized in drawing and graphics. After graduating in 1962, he moved to France. There he gets to know the Dutch painter Bram van de Velde and the Italian sculptor Giacometti, who have a lasting influence on him.
